A good game as the team played really well and missed just a few shots. Defence worked really hard keeping the scoring chances of Bear Babies shooters to scoring just the 1 goal in the match. My player of the match was Mia Gould at GA although missed a couple of shots she intercepted every back line pass and retrieved the ball. Umpires POM was Page Banks at GD as she defended really well as well as moving into the attack.
Team listened and did what was asked of them and won 15 -1 Well Done all 8 of you.

New Cambell entered 2 Under 12 teams which were made up of players from the ages of 11, 10 and 9 and one of 8 years of age. Both team tried really hard and improved as the day went on. The A team were able to score 10 goals and the B team came close to scoring a goal on a number of occasions. Both the coaches (Marcia & Sue) were extremely proud of all their players as they continued working hard and never gave up. We will get there soon.

The U14 squad came a creditable 3rd in their section so just missed out on the Semi Finals. They did not start particularly well and unfortunate lost matches against Turnford & Flames which were the only 2 matches of the day. Unlucky girls – we will take them next time.
