Essex Met Winter League Reports:

Some good results were had on Saturday with the White team taking the top score of 49 goals with shooters Leigh Ann & Charlotte putting the goals away and the Silver team taking the honours with best goal difference of the day of 30 goals. Michaela & lauren scored 46 goals with the defending end of Lydia & Kirsty letting in just 16 goals for the whole match. There were four wins and four losses on the day and some of those matches that we lost were very close.

Saturday 17th Essex Met Winter League

Good luck to all of you on Saturday, enjoy your first league match of the season, play with determination, work as a team and come back successful. 
Dont forget to run off score cards and make sure you have a scorer for your game Div 1-4 .

Beginning of Season Rally @  Redbridge: Sunday 20th

What an enjoyable day of netball, great weather and a really friendly tournament made even better because we WON.
We entered one senior team and 1 youth team into this rally today as preparation for the start of the Essex Met winter league starting next Saturday. The tournament was played on a round robin basis and it wasn’t until the two teams met half way through the tournament did one team lose a match.
Our youth team made it very difficult for our senior team with the score 5 - 4 at half time but unfortunately they didn’t score another goal. The senior team went on to win the rest of the games to take the trophy and medals.
Our youth team lost just the one match and drew two others to finish in a creditable 3rd position.
The player of the youth group goes to Lydia St Ange for her determination and work rate through out the day.
