Welcome to the New Cambell Netball Club Junior page. 
On this page you will hopefully find all the information that you and your child/guardian will need to know for the coming weeks and the rest of the season.

Please ensure that you report in and register the first time at the desk where you will be given the New Cambell handbook and the relevant forms that you both need to fill in and return to me the following week.

Also when your child/guardian goes onto the court they must register with their coach and must not leave the courts untill they have signed back out again.

Please look into the 'club diary' for all up and coming events so that you do not miss out on any of these.

Notices for 2010/11 Season

Tuesday 31st August NCNC A G M -  7.45pm at Robert Clack Leisure Centre

Tuesday 7th Sept:  Junior Club Registration 6.30 - 7.30pm
Saturday 11th Sept: U15/U16 trials 1.30 - 3.00pm @ R C Leisure Centre

Tuesday 14th Sept: Training starts for all Junior squads
Training Times: U 9's: U10's: U11's: U12's & U13's: from 6.30 - 7.30pm
Training Times: U14's : U15's: U16's: from 7.15 - 8.30pm

Uniform orders - NEW     

For the coming season ALL our Junior member will be able to wear and order their kit (all ages) NOW.  (July)
No kit will be given next season with the fees.

The New Cambell uniform consists of a dress and shorts or skort and top with Hoodies and tracksuits extra. May I also remind you that our sports holdals may be purchased at any time.
If you wish to order any part of the New Cambell uniform for next season this needs to be ordered and paid for before the end of the season.

Tuesday 29th June - Last training night 

This is to inform you this is the last training session for 2009/10 season. (29/06/10) We do hope you have had an enjoyable experience with our netball club this past season and we shall see you all in September.
Important Junior dates for 2010 / 11 season.
Tues 31st August New Cambell Netball Club (NCNC) AGM at R Clack L C 7.30pm:
Tues 7th Sept New Cambell Club Registration: 6.45pm – 7.45pm (Ages 6 – 16yrs)
Fees to be paid
Saturday 11th Sept – NCNC trials for U15’s & U16’s- @ R Clack LC @ 1.30 – 3.00pm
Tuesday 14th Sept – 1st Night Back – training for all other age groups (Times as this season)

Saturday May 8th
CRANFIELD RALLY – BEDFORDSHIRE:

The U14’s had a great day again winning three out of their five matches. They just missed out on reaching the Quarter Finals by 1 goal as it was decided on goal difference which team went through. Everyone worked extremely hard in the torrid weather conditions. The defence were exceptional and worked very well together with the attack playing some lovely netball.

Sunday May 9th
THURROCK JNR LEAGUE Report @ HASSENBROOK

The U11’s played against Bear Babies ‘c’ and produced an excellent win with a final score of 17-5. Shooting Leanne and Mia both shot well with good movement from Sophie WA who received the umpire’s player of the match. Jae who played C managed to get every centre pass out and made some good interceptions along with Ellie playing WD. In defence we had Emily and Paige working extremely hard by marking tightly in the circle. They managed to get every back line pass out and they all listened and did what they were asked to do for a good win.

Thurrock Junior Summer league Reports

The U12's played with only 6 players against Badgehurst and won 25-18. The team was: Charlotte, Ellen, Maisie, Chloe, Keisha and Tailor. Girls played brilliantly. Really came together as a team and worked hard throughout the whole match. Very proud of them. First win in the bag!!

L & SE Regional Round Report

Well Done to the U14 team today, although they haven’t made it through to the National Finals they worked extremely hard and played at times some great netball throughout the day.
Our first match was against Raiders from Middlessex, we made a good start but let them come back at us in the 2nd half but won this match 9 – 5 in the end: The 2nd match our girls were on fire, and they achieved an excellent win against Wealden from Kent 10 – 4: Our 3rd match of the day was against arch rivals (only because the girls know each other so well) Essex Open. Having played so well in the first two games we lost our timing and made quite a few errors in this game due to the pressure from the opposition and lost 2 – 13: A game that perhaps we should have won but lost was against CFX, possibly the loss in the game previously made the girls edgy as passes and timing was not as good as it had been previously and we lost 4 – 7: Telstars from Kent were next, another very slick, experience team and we lost this 2 -12: Our next game was also not one that we played well in, although there was some good netball we lost again this time against Whitton 4 goals to 8: The girls finally regrouped and started to play as they had started the day and ended up winning the last 3 games. Hillcrest (Surrey) 11 -2: Sabina (Middx) 8 – 3: Breakaways (Kent) 8 – 2:
The team finished in a very creditable 4th position having scored 58 goals and letting in just 46 in the London & South East Region Tournament. We all know that there is a lot of talent and great netball to still come from this age group.

Christmas Charity Night - Donation £1.00

This year we have chosen the theme 'Christmas'' for our Charity evening.
You must try and come in anything related to Christmas ideas such as using the colours red,white, gold or silver or fancy dress outfits like a Santa or elf’s or head ornaments reindeer/sleigh/stars you name it anything goes.

(Trainers must be worn - please think of the safety aspect as you will still be playing netball)

Money collected will go to St Frances Hospice
